520 $aDeveloping mixed income housing is becoming more widespread in U.S over recent years. However, the answer--whether or not mixed income development can achieve its policy goals--is still uncertain. There are two general goals behind mixed income housing policy: improving the living conditions of urban poor and promoting socioeconomic integration among people with different income. In this research, by conducting questionnaires to residents living in six selected Mixed Income Housing Projects in New York City, the question whether or not Mixed Income Housing Projects can achieve its policy goals will be explored.
