520 8 $a'Moving Meyerbeer' ist der Titel eines dreijährigen interdisziplinären Forschungsprojektes der Hochschule der Künste Bern, das Vertreter aus den Bereichen der Musik-, Kunst- und Tanzwissenschaft zusammenführte. Ein Ziel bestand darin, durch die unterschiedlichen Methoden dieser Disziplinen Ansätze für die Analyse von Giacomo Meyerbeers Pariser Opern zu entwickeln, die auch in Bezug auf die szenischen Vorgänge und die Aufführungspraxis dieser einflussreichen Gesamtkunstwerke neue Perspektiven eröffnen können. Von Beginn an waren auch Musikerinnen und Musiker, Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler sowie Tänzerinnen und Tänzer in das Projekt eingebunden, um die entwickelten Theorien in der Praxis zu erproben und zu überprüfen.
