545 0 $aJayne Cubbage is Associate Professor of Communications at Bowie State University, an historically Black University in Maryland, USA, where she teaches in the Graduate Program in Organizational Communication. She holds a Ph.D. degree from Howard University and is the author of several works on media literacy in higher education. She is currently working on additional research on news literacy, media literacy, and mass communication for diverse audiences.
