Koloman received for his artwork many awards not only at home, but he also received international awards. He participated in significant exhibitions in the USA, UK and many other countries. His work and his teaching activities were deeply respected, even in Mexico. His artwork has affected several generations of Slovak artists. Although many books have already been published on Sokol's life and work, this book presents fascinating thus far unknown images. Many of these images differ from what is typically known as Sokol's art.
