Also documents his studies in philosophy at Harvard University and Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, his interest in theology, and his involvement with the Asian-African Conference (Bandung, Indonesia), Oxford Group, Campus Crusade for Christ International, World Council of Christian Education and Sunday School Association, World Council of Churches, and Young Men's Christian Association in Cairo, Egypt. Subjects include communism, human rights, the international partition of Jerusalem, the Middle East, the Palestinian question, religion, the Soviet peace resolution of 1949, Alfred North Whitehead, and a plan promoted by Malik to translate the world's classics into all major languages. Includes lecture notes from courses conducted by Martin Heidegger, William Ernest Hocking, and Alfred North Whitehead.
