A survey of the development of housing co-operatives and co-ownership housing societies by the British government in the 1960s and 70s, analysing the problems and attempting to propose solutions. Includes as an appendix, the report of the short-lived Council for Co-ownership Societies into the problems encountered by co-owners due to the legal and economic framework set up to develop and manage housing co-ownerships.
