Work Description
The Novel is based on the life and the culture of hunting and gathering tribes named "Kheria Shobbor" of west midnapur and suburbs in the state of west bengal in India. It is based on the daily life and food hunting styles of the tribe and there strugle for existence. the author has stayed in the dwellings of these tribes and interacted with their daily life to write the masterpiece novel. The title translation reads: "Red Soil Shaal tree" the area of the people of the soil - "laal Maati Shaal Bon". In the state of west bengal in India the book covers different village and jungle areas of Belpahari, Binpur 2 block, West Midnapur, Shilda, Joraam, Jamjurki, Kankrajhor, Odolchua, RimraDanga, Chirakuti, etc.
