Edition Notes

Introduction signed Z., and dated April 23, 1792; followed by: The following is the piece which the editor of the Gazette [i.e., John Carter] refused to publish. For the Providence gazette, also signed Z. Refuting "nine scurrilous pieces" by Senex; concerning the dispute arising from a decision of the Court of the General Session of the Peace.

Presumably printed by Bennett Wheeler, the only other printer in Providence at this time.

Both texts in two columns.
