Whereas, by advice of His Majesties Council for this province upon the application of the mayor of New-York, to remove a grievance from the inhabitants (the want of bread) ... I have, with the advice of the Council, given free liberty to all persons, to export flower, bread and corn ... Given at Fort William Henry, the 2d day of July ... annoq; Domini 1696.
