This is a peculiar book that narrates de history of the labor movements in Bolivia. Starting in the 1880s and ending in the early 1980s, the author is a social actor, a witness, a chronicler, a journalist and a politician of the early anarchist tendency. He was a national representative in the Bolivian Congress in 1938, the government that led the period known as 'social constitutionalism.' He is a veteran of the Chaco War (1932-1935), and a founder of a newspaper El Expreso in the mining city of Oruro. He is also written a memoir titled Recuerdos de Ayer (L Paz: Plural, 2011). |
