Edition Notes
The two facsimile leaves at the end are a fragment of a commentary on the Gospel of Mark in the Biblioteca Nazionale, Turin (F.IV.I, fasc. 7). The editor believes this commentary is by the same author as the Milan codex.
The Milan commentary on the Psalms, formerly attributed to St. Columbanus, has more recently been considered the work of Theodorus, bishop of Mopsuestia, or Julianus, bishop of Eclanum. The Irish glosses, from internal evidence, are by Mailgaimrid (d.839), Coipre, Diarmid, and others.
