I would recomend this book as a great example for calculation of minimum reinforcement for massive elements like deep foundations. If the size of foundation is determined by overturning/sliding requirements, sod there is no need for the reinforcement due to the bending amount of reinforcement is required from the minimum reinforcement for cracking formula. According to eurocode this amount for massive elements is huge, but using this book you can reduce it.
