A series of yearly site reports, describing the Roman auxiliary fort at Caerhun, near Conwy, N Wales, finally published (unpaginated) in 1938. In charge was Paul Kenneth Baillie-Reynolds of Aberystwyth University, the man did a great job for the time (mid 1920's) but failed to discover the established date of the site and left quite a few questions unanswered, possibly due to not recognising features of the earlier timber fort.
Written by Dave Alexander who also has done a website about Caerhun or Canovium Roman fort which is @ www.betws31.freeserve.co.uk.
