A poetry book written while the author was incarcerated in the aftermath of the October Crisis in Quebec in 1970. He had been wrongfully accused of plotting to overthrow the govenment of Canada together with four other Quebec Independance activists of the time. All charges were eventually dropped after five months of incarceration.
