'The Preface' is signed: 'George Jago. Looe, July 15.' [of Cornwall, Wadham Coll.(Oxon.),and Harberton, Devon, where he was Vicar in 1714] [Foster:Alum. Oxon.]; 'A Letter from a Dissenting Teacher ... ' is signed: 'N: E ...' .In his Preface, George Jagoexplains the sequence of letters which led him to have printed this 'Answer to the Dissenter's Letter', along with the 'Letter itself, Printed exactly, according to the Original that was sent me'; his 'Answer' forms the main part of the work.
First section, after Preface, signed: 'N: E---', has caption title: 'A Letter from a Dissenting Teacher, in Confutation of Dr. Wells, &c.'; second section, by George Jago , has caption title:' An Answer to a Letter from a Dissenting Teacher, &c.'.
