Assumes that Filipino indigenous spirituality has been maintained and transformed through reaction to and reflection upon religious belief systems during the era of Christian missions. A conceptual framework for Filipino indigenous religions is developedin order to discover its spirituality and re-emergence in Christian belief. Parallels between indigenous religious rites and Pentecostal liturgy are examined.
