Murray Ragg collection (sold by order of the trustees), comprising Lambeth, Bristol and Liverpool delft, including a Charles II portrait caudle cup, a rare dated fuddling cup, a superb chalice, dated 1656, a Queen Anne portrait mug, important chargers, bowls and a series of documentary dated examples, Astbury, Whieldon and early Wedgwood wares, Leeds and Liverpool creamware, fine agate and saltglaze wares, including a Jacobite portrait jub, teapots, bowls and mugs with fine coloured decoration, four agate ware cats and rare transfer-printed salt-glaze plates and from various owners, a series of early Lambeth drug jars and bowls, a superb set of four Dutch delft jars, made for snuff or tobacco and bearing the Cypher of the Dutch, East India Company, also a very rare saltglaze pew group.
