The continuous monitoring of waste water discharge, using remote technology at Northern Territory mine sites in Australia, was discussed. Four case studies were presented that illustrated the advantages of continuous monitoring with remote technology. The four case studies included: Ranger Uranium Mine, Nabarelek Uranium Mine, Pine Creek Gold Mine and Woodcutters Mine.
