A six year monitoring program of the land application of waste water from the Ranger Uranium Mine, Northern Australia, was discussed. It was explained that the environmental impacts of waste water disposal were assessed by physical and chemical analysis of the land application sites. As a result, it was observed that land application of waste water resulted in minimal environmental impacts.
