When Jason moved in with Bev, it was supposed to be temporary. This is, until Daisy the chihuahua came to stay. Hot on her heels came Elvis the pug, and then, of course, their puppies! When Daisy is unable to drop the post-pregnancy pounds, and her health is in danger, Bev and Jason pull together to lead a healthier life-style--and become a family (albeit an unconventional one) in the process. Their new life is based on an enhanced appreciation of the moment, a healthier approach to food and fun, and the constant company of their pets, who are living reminders of the transformative power of unconditional love.
