Edition Notes
The Guillotine contains ten short stories written by Omoseye Bolaji, about half of them originally published in sundry South African publications(eg the famous "Love Hurts" first appeared in DRUM). In this collection, Bolaji shows his penchant for the unexpected and grips our attention most of the time. There is a touch of the absurd in "The Drunkard" - but on the whole, a satisfying collection.
