The Military Cross (MC) was awarded, during the Burma Rebellion in 1931, to Colonel G H B 'Billy' Beyts - a Regular officer serving with the 6th Rajputana Rifles.
Billy Beyts later rose to the rank of Brigadier and was, during his military service, awarded the following decorations:- DSO, MBE,MC
