An edition of Old Mose -- king of the grizzlies (2005)

Old Mose -- king of the grizzlies

The story of Old Mose, the last grizzly bear in Park/Fremont county, Colorado, and of the two men who hunted him down. Mose, reportedly, killed over 800 head of livestock, and at least three men. He was finally killed in 1904, after several decades of dealing in death and destruction, and the Denver Post newspaper dedicated one whole page to his death. Perkins has researched, and written, about a most fantastic happening in early Colorado history. A great, great read!!
