“So Beautifully Made” :
Suspended in darkness with not much space.
Developing an identity through God’s grace.
Curled up in a ball, in a dream like state.
Surrounded by fluid over their body and face.
Their heart beating soft with angelic sound.
They have movement now, even at just a pound.
Their limbs are developed now, we can see.
Looks like they’re in prayer on bended knee.
Time is passing and they’re moving much more.
But, not time yet to come through the door.
From their moving, they create sound waves.
They’re making music in their own little way.
They have attained their identity with joy.
Now we know whether it is a girl or boy.
They have now reached their moment of fame.
To enter the world and be given a name.
The glorious gift is here from God he gave.
The gift of a child so beautifully made.

About the Author, Leonardo DeVinci Thomas
Through my experiences in life I have been inspired, informed, and rescued by my Lord and Savior. Born in Nacogdoches, TX on August 3, 1965 to my parents Cordelia and William Hoyt Thomas Jr. My family moved to Houston, TX when I was 3yrs old, where I resided most of my life. I have two sisters and a daughter. I attended Jarvis Christian College and Texas Southern University, and I would later marry and have a daughter, whom I thank God for everyday. I am an accomplished poet whose work has been hosted in many poetry books and poetry CD's all over the world, and an International Library of Poetry's Who's Who. On 4/2/2010 God blessed me to re-marry to a woman of my dreams, she is my heart, my love, my joy, my peace, and my soulmate, my wife Pat Thomas whom has given me great support of love.
