This report provides the edited proceedings of the Australian Driver Trainers’ Association (NSW) Annual Conference, held on Friday 28 November 2008 at Parramatta. Presentations addressed issues of police traffic enforcement and road safety, the findings and recommendations arising from an inquiry by the New South Wales parliament's Staysafe committee into young driver education programs, a commentary on graduated driver licensing, a description of the new keys2drive program, and a discussion of the role of driving instructors in dealing with older drivers and drivers with special needs.
