Pater Vitus Georg tonneman was confessor and adviser to Charles VI for 34 years. He has never been researched in his own right in any language. this short book is a compilation from published and unpublished material, including original correspondence. The author is a collateral descendant, with access to previously unknown german family records. Charles VI was grandfather to marie Antoinette of France.
