Por quanto el 6. del mes próximo pasado un corsario ingles atacó é hizo prisionero dentro de la rada de Arica el pequeño buque de este comercio, nombrado el Gran Señor, le traxo hasta enfrente del puerto de Quilca, y desembaracando en él un oficial con bandera Parlamentaria, propuso, ajustó y verificó su rescate por cinco mil quinientos pesos que le exhibieron sus vecinos, y este hecho insólito irregular, y sobre que ya he tomado separadamente las providencias convenientes, es un exemplar cuya repeticion debe precaverse, .
