KAMALA Sadagopan's masterpiece Kadavu was serialised in Kalaimagal magazine. It won the Narayanaswamy Iyer award and was serialised in Doordarshan. The author also bagged the Tamil Nadu govenment's best novel award for her work, Padigal in the year 1981.
She is the wife of Film director Chithralaya Gopu.
