An edition of Story of Atari Super Breakout (1982)

Story of Atari Super Breakout

This is the fourth in a series of five "Story of Atari" books with read-along audio recordings, each book has black and white illustrations on each page, as well as the text of the story. This is a story book that tells of a astronaut named John Chang, as he and his ship 'Adventure', are going from Jupiter's moon Io, to a space center orbiting Venus. He was low on air and fuel, when a flash of light appeared between him and his goal. It was a force field of main colors. He could not go around it, or communicate, and he had only three light missiles. The missiles bounce off the force field, removing a section of the field, and then bounce back. Using his ship's hull to reflect the missile back towards the field, he manages to get through. Triumphant he reaches the 'New California' base. This book was released with a 7 inch (17.5 cm) record, played in 33 1/3 revolutions per minute KSR-944, and cassette tape KSC-88944.
