This biography has been writen to celebrate the 150e birthay of Pierre de Nolhac, poet, historian and humanist born the 15th of december 1859 in Ambert, France. After telling the different periods of his life in seven chapters, the second half of the book offers sixteen annexes which describe the many connections and works of this very famous conservator of Versailles palace, who became a member of the french Academy in 1922.
