Woodcut device on t.p. depicting "Venetia" (Zappella 1185, assigned to Bolognino Zaltieri, 1555-1576). Decorated and historiated initials.
Signatures: [superscript pi]A⁴ A⁶ B-3Z⁴ aa-hh⁴ ii⁶ a-g⁴ h⁶.
In 2nd sequence of foliation, 5-6 are repeated and 261-270 omitted.

Getty c. 1 lacks A3.4 (2nd sequence), and V⁴-X⁴ are bound after g4.
Binding, c. 1: later vellum. Written on top edge of text block: VENEZIA. Binding, c. 2: old limp vellum. Title written at head of spine: Descrizio: / ne di / Venezia. Remains of 2 pairs of ties at foredge.
Getty c. 1 signed at left of device on t.p.: Gaud.o Ant.o Gaudenti. Centered on front pastedown of c. 2 is Theodore Besterman's calligraphic book label, signed with the initials P.S. Inscription at either side of device on t.p. (... Luogo di / ?Cas.ni di Cingoli).
