This book is well illustrated with photographs for each recipe. The recipes are simple with just a few ingredients, with clear instructions how to prepare and cook them. In some cases the author uses a Bhutanese word for an ingredient, that is however explained in English. This is a nice cookbook for someone who knows how to cook and is curious about another cooking tradition. In addition to recipes, the book also show photographs of Bhutan, its people and its culture.
