Title from leaf (in French, German, and English) following last page of the facsimile.
The ms., commissioned by Jean de France, duc de Berry, is the work of the Limbourg brothers, Jean, Herman, and Pol, working under Pol's direction, until the duke's death in 1416. It was later completed by Jean Colombe.
"A unique, limited edition of 980 copies worldwide, numbered with arabic numerals, of which 350 copies are reserved for the English-language market. 80 copies numbered with roman numerals will be reserved for authors and collaborators and for the publisher's archives."
