Excerpts

It may come as a shock to you that I actually had a life before I was a mortician. I have come across scores of people who, when talking with them about my career as an embalmer, say "You know, that's a job I never thought about anyone actually doing". I wasn't born a mortician and contrary to what most people assume, no one else in my family had worked in the funeral industry prior to me.
