LC copy has tipped in newspaper clipping, dated Oct. 28, 1902, from F.B. Sanborn to the editor of The Republican about Galileo's inscription and tipped in description of the Torre al Gallo in Florence. Also has note laid in by Richard Garrett verifying the authenticity of Galileo's handwriting.
