Reproduces 254 exhibition catalogs, previously published between the years 1919 and 1972, covering exhibits of the permanent collections of the Hermitage, including topics such as primitive culture, the culture and art of ancient Egypt, Russian culture, the art of Italy, England and France; as well as guides and catalogs covering collections of various subjects on loan from other institutions, and guides to exhibitions held in other Russian museums or museums abroad in cooperation and collaboration with the Hermitage Museum.
