Supriti Devi, a middle aged wife of a high ranking technocrat found herself being sidelined by her husband that is natural for a woman crossing her forties. She was getting adjusted to her new situation in life when an accident occurred. That night when she was all alone, her husband out of town on a call of duty, she heard a knock on the door. It was already too late for a visitor calling on them. So she woke up and peeped through the window only to find a strange sight. A little boy painted blue with a flute in hand and donnig the costume of Bala Krishna was frantically knocking at the door as if begging for a quick hiding palce from some evil pursuer hot on the trail. The boy was obviously an opera player who had escaped from some opera party's on going program, from the middle of a scene.
