Edition Notes

Holograph, signed with initials.

On pages one and two, there is a letter from Deborah Weston to Anne W. Weston. Deborah gives an account of the social contacts she has enjoyed in New Bedford. She wishes Anne to go to New York for the annual meeting, and reminds her that she can use her money. Deborah writes that "it will reconcile me very much to staying here to know that somebody is having fun through my means."

On page two, there is a separate letter from Deborah Weston to Caroline Weston. Deborah instructs Caroline about which gowns and sewing materials to send her.
