Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Deborah Weston has looked in vain for Anne Warren Weston's lost letter, but is sending the most recent one received. She hopes that Anne is better and hardly thinks she will come before the end of the term. Deborah has been working hard, arranging and packing, with Warren Weston's sickness putting her arrangements off schedule. The anti-slavery rooms are to be given up; "It costs a great deal of money & there are no adequate returns." Caroline Weston and Deborah Weston are to attend a meeting at Mrs. Thankful Southwick's in order to make arrangements about anti-slavery petitions.
