Deborah Weston writes: "Emma & I went to Cambridge & staid all night. John about the same. I called to see Ann Terry last night & Wendell came home & made a call. [Charles Turner?] Torrey is to be buried from Park St. & a great jollification at Faneuil Hall in the evening." She mentions the old and new organization. Henry I. Bowditch attacked the old organization, while William Lloyd Garrison and Parker opposed him ably.
