Deborah writes: "Mr. Morrison is very busy here getting up a society to be called 'the benevolent society.' It is for the amelioration of the condition of poor." Deborah will attend a party at George S. Baker's [house], and wants a certain dress to wear to the party. She heard a rumor that Mrs. Eliza Lee Cabot Follen was in an insane hospital.
