Edition Notes

Holograph, signed with initials.

Anne Warren Weston advises Caroline Weston to hire someone to make Lizzy (Elizabeth B. Chapman)'s gown, as Maria Weston Chapman says there is too much to be done here to permit any sewing. Anne makes referance to the boxes (for the fair); the Carlisle-Dublin and Exeter ones are to come by the next steamer. Edmund (Quincy) goes to Philadelphia today. $200 worth of "the new things" have been sent to Philadelphia. "We have more by far than ever."
