Edition Notes

Holograph, signed with initials.

Deborah Weston refers to a meeting that "was glorious," having "the largest audiences I ever saw at an anti S.[lavery] meeting." She says that "[Henry?] Clapp made a fool of himself & was excessively mortified." She gives family news. Deborah notes that the price of the newspaper, the National Anti-Slavery Standard has been lowered, and gives the number of subscriptions secured by her sisters.
