On pages 1-2, there is a letter from Lucia Weston to Emma Weston. Lucia tells about a great storm. She describes the visit of Charles T. Torry.

On pages 2-4, there is a letter from Anne Warren Weston to Deborah Weston and Emma Weston. Anne begins with an account of the comings and goings of various members of her family. She discusses Henry Chapman, and says he is going to Hayti [sic]. She wants a copy of Gurney's letter to Clay.
