Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Caroline Weston describes the activities of Maria and Henry Chapman, including an account of their illnesses. She also decribes her own illness. She mentions the Morgan School in a discussion of family plans. Caroline writes: "The Britannia brought a box of things val[ued] $300 from Glasgow and a beautiful piece for Liberty Bell from Richard Webb." The American & Foreign Anti-Slavery Reporter has ceased publication.

Written cross-wise on page 1, there is a short note by Anne Warren Weston to Deborah Weston. Anne gives family news.
