Edition Notes

Holograph, signed with initials.

In her letter to Maria Weston Chapman, Deborah Weston said: "I write to commend to Henry's & your kindness & hospitality my friend John F. Emerson." Deborah expresses her gratitude to Henry G. Chapman for newspapers he sent to her. She sends a newspaper in return. She comments on Alanson St. Clair's claim that the pamphlet, "Right and Wrong," contains an error.

Attached to page 1 of the manuscript, is a clipping about Edmund Quincy and N.P. Roger.
