The Worcester Committee of Correspondence has received the order relative to the confinement of Samuel Murray. The citizens will obey all such positive orders.

Includes a postscript dated Headquarters, Cambridge, June 18. Has received a vote of the Committee of Correspondence in Rutland favoring the confinement of Samuel Murray in the Worcester gaol. Regrets that the people have not acquiesced in the determination of the Council of War.

The handwriting is not that of Ward, the Revolutionary general.
