Edition Notes
Holograph, signed.
Silva W. Jones is worried about the convention because of "the controversy which is going on in the City." She comments on the need for unity among abolitionists. She asks where one can get "the appeal to the women of the nominal free states." They had a very interesting lecture from Angelina E. Grimké on September 12th. She inquires if the Moral Reform Society in Boston is an auxiliary of the AMR (American Moral Reform?) Society in New York. She also asks where the Illuminator is circulated.
