Holograph, signed.
Angelina Ammidon [Howe] tells of her delightful journey to the White Hills and her happiness in marriage. She intends to visit the poor and distressed [in her husband's parish?]. She reports that Henry Brewster Stanton "thinks they will get Mr. [Amos Augustus] Phelps at the free church." Angelina understands that Mr. Phelps's (deceased) wife "left word for him to marry again," and that the Cambridge ladies are being invited to the house where he boards. She suggests that Anne Warren Weston goes there, although "I don't believe he is quite so much a favorite of yours as formerly." Angelina congratulates Anne Warren Weston on her certainty about the peace question. Angelina said: "I suppose you think Orange Scott in great delusion, but I must confess he seemed to me nearer right than Garrison."
