Eliza Wigham thanks Maria Weston Chapman for the copy of the Liberty Bell. Wigham writes: "We are parting with our beloved friend Frederick Douglass whom we love & cherish as a dear brother." Only Henry C. Wright is left "of the noble band you lent to us" and he has been ill. Wigham is going to Darlington to visit Elizabeth Pease Nichol.
